your own home, and take part in a professionally led session with the ability to interact through chats with our professionals, and get your questions answered in real-time!

You are welcome to join sessions already in progress.

The cost of each session won't change even if you come in late as you will receive

the post session information recapping the entire multiday session.

NOTE: Sessions are offered over 2 or 3 sessions. The information in these sessions build on the last, so we encourage you to join in on the first session, and continue through for the full length of each program.

The gold-standard psychotherapy is cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).

However, accessing it in a live format can be problematic or expensive, even though there are multiple Apps, Webinars, and self-help books on this. Individual and group therapy are all available.

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a psycho-social intervention that aims to improve mental health. CBT focuses on challenging and changing unhelpful cognitive distortions (e.g. thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes) and behaviors, improving emotional regulation, and the development of personal coping strategies that target solving current problems.

The course offers some elements of a full CBT program, and allows individuals to gain insights into what may help them and if this is a program they want to pursue further.

For those who have previously had CBT, this will act as a refresher course, allowing participants to increase their knowledge and the usefulness of past therapy.

Have you ever been driving somewhere and arrived at your destination, only to realize you do not remember the actual drive; or after bringing all your groceries into the kitchen, you asked yourself “did I lock the car?”

 

This is called automatic pilot mode; this is habitual state of mind that prevents us from being present in our actual lives and makes us miss out on all the beauty around us and in us . Mindfulness is the opposite of auto pilot mode. Mindfulness means paying attention intentionally to the present moment without judgment. Practising mindfulness helps us check in with ourselves so we can live everyday in a healthier, happier state of mind.

 

During this webinar you will learn several different mindfulness practises that can help you become more aware of your habitual thoughts,feeling, and bodily sensations so you can change the way you respond to stress.

If you are a survivor of domestic violence, are in a situation of risk, or want to know how to support somebody you fear may be in this situation, this closed group is designed to offer support and information. It will be limited to only 15 individuals per group,

and will involve 3 sessions each lasting 30 minutes on consecutive days.

 

Individuals can attend via a phone link or videoconference, whichever they are most comfortable with.
